Terms
What you are agreeing to when you book a consultation, sign a scope or start a care plan. No defined-terms section, no capital letters shouting at you. Last updated 11 September 2026.
Elevated Software Labs is a trading name of Elevate Sales Consulting LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. In these terms, we means that company and you means the person or business buying the work. They cover three things: the paid consultation, a build, and a care plan. Your signed scope always wins if it says something different from this page.
The consultation is $49 for thirty minutes on a video call, booked and paid through Calendly. You get a real price against our published tiers and a written scope within two days of the call. If you only have a question, use the contact form instead — we answer questions by email at no cost, and we would rather do that than take $49 from someone who does not need a call.
If you go ahead with a build, the $49 comes off your build price. If you do not go ahead, the $49 is not refunded — it paid for the time and the written scope, and the scope is yours to keep or take elsewhere. Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the call and we will move it or refund it; inside 24 hours, or if you do not attend, the fee stands.
Nothing starts until there is a written scope and you have signed it. The scope lists what is being built, what is not, and the price. Our published prices are real prices for the work described on the pricing page, not a starting point designed to move once you are committed.
Prices can still change for genuine reasons: unusual complexity, third-party licences, or work you add after signing. We will tell you before we do it, in writing, and you can decline. We will not issue a surprise invoice.
You pay 50% on signing and the build clock starts that day. The remaining 50% is due on agreed completion, and the finished work is released to your accounts on that payment. Invoices are issued through Stripe and are due on receipt. We do not take card details ourselves and we never see your card number.
Care plans are billed monthly in advance and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the month you have paid for. Hourly edits are $125 an hour, or $1,000 for a ten-hour block.
Seven or fourteen days means working days, counted from the day the deposit clears and we have what we need from you — copy, images, logins, product data. If we are waiting on you, the clock pauses. We will say so at the time rather than quietly absorbing the delay and missing the date.
On final payment, you own the code we wrote for you outright. Every account we set up — hosting, database, app stores, payment processing — is opened in your name, on your card, with us added as a collaborator. You can remove our access in one click without anything breaking. We hold the source repository so we can maintain the work; you get a copy whenever you ask.
We keep the right to reuse our own general know-how and any non-client-specific tooling or boilerplate we brought to the project. That never includes your content, your data, your branding or anything built specifically for you.
You pay hosting, database, email and app store vendors directly, at their published prices. We never mark up infrastructure and we never resell it to you. The running-costs page sets out what a typical build costs each month. Those vendors set their own prices and uptime, and we are not responsible for their outages or their price changes.
Revisions inside the agreed scope are included through handover — that is what the revision stage is for. Anything that is a new feature rather than a correction is a new scope and a new price, and we will tell you plainly which one we think it is before doing the work.
We will fix defects in what we built, free, for 30 days after handover. After that, fixes are hourly or covered by a care plan. We do not warrant that software will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise business outcomes. On SEO specifically: every site we build is coded for search as standard, but pages take roughly six months of crawling to populate properly and we will not promise rankings. Anyone who does is selling you something.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work the claim relates to, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can stop a project at any time. Work completed up to that point is billable, and the deposit is not returned once building has started. If we cannot deliver what we agreed, we will tell you early and refund what you have paid for work not done. See the refund policy for the detail.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States. If we change them, the date below changes with them, and the version in force is the one published when you signed your scope.
